Renting safely

Rent safely: clear agreements, good photos.

Reddaro is the intermediary — not a party to the rental, not a payment provider and not an insurer. What protects both sides: verified profiles, clear agreements in chat and a documented condition at handover and return.

Five tips for both sides

1.Photos at handover and return

Record the condition together — the handover protocol in the booking stores photos and notes for both of you.

2.Check the profile and reviews

Reviews from completed rentals and a well-kept profile say more than any form. For expensive gear, look closely.

3.Keep everything in chat

Price, payment, deposit, pickup time: whatever you agree belongs in the booking chat — so it can be traced later.

4.Pay at handover

Only pay once you have the item in your hands — in cash or by transfer. Be wary of requests for advance payment without a handover.

5.Report anything suspicious

Scam attempt, harassment or a listing that doesn’t add up? “Report a problem” is on every listing and in every chat.

Who is responsible for what?

  • The rental contract is made directly between host and renter — Reddaro is the intermediary, not an insurer
  • Payment and any deposit are handled directly between the parties — Reddaro takes no money
  • Damage and disputes are settled between the contracting parties, e.g. via their own insurance

Trust & safety, built in

After every completed rental both sides review each other — hidden until both have submitted. Reviews and a completed profile show you who you are dealing with.

If something is off, report the listing or the conversation: our team reviews every report within 24 hours and suspends users who break the rules.

Request first, agree next, hand over last — in that order it stays safe.
